Over two decades at Sleep Number, she played a pivotal role in its evolution from a $300M mattress retailer to a $2B+ sleep technology brand.
As Vice President of Connected Brand Experience, Angela led 2,000+ store remodels and new builds, delivering sales per location 3X the industry average while maintaining cost efficiency on a $500M capital investment. She pioneered integrated experiential retailing, launching AR/VR shopping, proprietary immersive technology, and retail media networks—revolutionizing how consumers shop for sleep.
Beyond retail, Angela drove high-profile brand activations, securing Sleep Number’s decade-long presence at CES, generating 2B+ media impressions per event, and spearheading the first-ever Super Bowl sleep experience, reaching 1.5B+ consumers per event.
Her leadership extends beyond strategy—she is deeply committed to team development, designing a career framework and mentorship program that increased team tenure to 10+ years. As Senior Director of Retail & Brand Experience, she led the go-to-market strategy for the 360 Smart Bed, developed a 35,000+ event brand activation program, and generated 1M+ leads and $300M+ in revenue.
Angela also transformed the team member experience, partnering with HGA architects to lead the design of Sleep Number’s new 250,000 sq. ft. headquarters, successfully relocating 1,000 employees in under nine months while meeting a $30M budget.
With 35+ years of expertise spanning retail, agency, and brand-side strategy—including roles at Rainforest Cafe, Entolo, and Pet Food Warehouse—Angela has shaped immersive retail experiences across specialty stores, large-scale environments, and direct-to-consumer brands.
